Deity PR-2 Tripod Mount Adapter
The Deity PR-2 Tripod Mount Adapter adds standard 1/4-20 mounting points to the PR-2 compact audio recorder, making it easy to attach to a TalonFab parabolic microphone, tripod, camera rig, mounting arm, or other recording equipment.
The PR-2’s included belt clip slides securely into the adapter, allowing the recorder to remain quick to install and remove without modifying the recorder itself.
Two rear-facing 1/4-20 female threads provide flexible mounting positions for different equipment and orientations.
he Deity PR-2 is an excellent lightweight field recorder, but it does not include a conventional tripod socket. This adapter solves that problem by turning the recorder’s existing belt clip into a versatile mounting interface.
Simply attach the standard Deity belt clip to the PR-2 and slide it into the adapter. The recorder can then be mounted using either of the two 1/4-20 female threads on the back.
The dual-thread design gives you greater freedom to position the recorder where it is easy to reach and where its screen, controls, and audio connections remain accessible.
It is particularly useful for attaching the PR-2 directly to the rear accessory mount of a TalonFab parabolic microphone, creating a compact, self-contained wildlife recording system. It can also be used with tripods, clamps, articulating arms, camera rigs, hot-shoe adapters, and other equipment that uses the standard 1/4-20 mounting system.
The adapter uses the belt clip already supplied with the Deity PR-2, so the recorder can be removed and returned to normal belt-mounted use whenever required.
